Intro:
what is usability optimization in design?
In
order to make business plan a valid tool in a business
development, not a formal useless paper, it has to be
organized in a format that contain
three features::
1.
Stages: Splitting
business plan in the stages with deadlines helps to divide
actual labor required expenses and time into smaller stages,
which enables to connect every task to the moment, when
it is necessary.
Example:
when you open an actual business location you HAVE to
be decided on the name of the business and have to have
the overall style of the business developed, BUT you may
postpone the development of presentation materials to
the stage, when you have to generate the “second wave”
of expansion.
2.
Objective of a stage: defines
the main goal that has to be achieved during the stage.
Objective is necessary to clearly understand what is a
final outcome of the stage, which enables to render the
steps, necessary for it’s achievement.
Example:
let’s say you are opening the shoes store. The first step,
let’s call it “Market Research”. Then the objective of
this stage will be to decide is it is possible to open
the location in the perspective commercial space and what
will be the assortment, complimenting the needs of the
target audience in this location.
3. Tasks descriptions: defines the means
of achieving the objective of the step. May contain the
legal, design, marketing, equipment issues, as well as
perspective budget, perspective income and needed investment.
This feature will not only help to organize the work on
the project in the manner, when all the tasks that have
to be done simultaneously organized in one step, but also
helps to balance the time and effort spent on different
aspect of the business production, as well as estimate
how much your expectations in the business development
are different from the actual situation.
Example:
if you are opening the establishment
that sells advertisement, the first step of a healthily
growing business will me equalizing spends and gains over
a 1.5 year period since opening the business.
